Thanks Kinsley! I think we have to be so enamoured and passionate about what we do that things that might discourage most just sort of roll off our backs. But probably more to my point, it’s about wanting something specific but also being open to whatever opportunities come up along the way. You have “illustration” googles through which everything becomes a possible opportunity, or a stepping stone. In my own life, I had this story of me becoming an illustrator, so everything else in my life was just part of this story. Delusional!
